Accolade for oee.ai: Entry on the Federal Government's Industry 4.0 platform

The Industry 4.0 platform was inaugurated in 2013. The Federal Ministry of Economics and the Federal Ministry of Education as well as the BITKOM, VDMA and ZVEI associations are thus bundling the future projects adopted in the High-Tech Strategy 2020 action plan. oee.ai is now listed on the Industry 4.0 map as a solution component for simple analysis and improvement of the overall effectiveness equipment (OEE) of plants.

On the Industry 4.0 platform “is (it) about a coordinated and orderly organization of digital structural change in industry, the creation of suitable and reliable framework conditions for companies and employees, and a needs-based industrial policy for the future competitiveness of Germany as a location. The platform should also enable actors to initiate alliances and networks, identify relevant trends and developments in a digitized industry and support German SMEs in implementing Industry 4.0 with the help of specific recommendations for action and best practices.” This is how the Industry 4.0 platform presents itself. And oee.ai can contribute to this with a practical example.

oee.ai on the Industry 4.0 map

The Industry 4.0 map presents practical examples of where Industry 4.0 is already being lived. Among other approaches, the focus is on software solutions for production and logistics from manufacturing companies. oee.ai is also positioned in this environment. Following an evaluation of the solution by the Advisory Board, the entry was made alongside renowned Industry 4.0 companies such as Wittenstein, Bosch, Siemens, Kuka, Trumpf and various Fraunhofer Institutes.
