About Filtration Group
Filtration Group GmbH, headquartered in Öhringen (Baden-Württemberg), has been producing industrial filters since 1962. The company has additional production sites in Timișoara (Romania) and Shanghai (China) as well as six sales locations. The industrial filtration division employs 700 people worldwide, including 400 at the Öhringen site. In addition to production, R&D, design, customer service and sales are also located there. Lean management is actively practiced in the plant.
initial situation
The existing shop floor management was analogous and incomplete: laminated lists on individual lines, but no comprehensive introduction — the effort was too high. Overarching key figures were not summarized. After each shop floor meeting, the lists were cleaned, meaning that all data was irretrievably lost.
