oee.ai as a guest of the wvib: equipment effectiveness despite a weak order situation

On April 1, 2026, wvib Schwarzwald AG hosted guests at the wvib Campus in Freiburg. Managers from production and maintenance gathered there to exchange experiences under the theme “A weak order situation – so why bother about equipment effectiveness?”. The wvib is a business association that promotes the exchange of information between industrial companies in Baden-Württemberg.

Jörn Steinbeck represented oee.ai on-site and gave a talk titled “Increasing equipment effectiveness with AI”. Alongside the technical discussions, the exchange of experience among the medium-sized companies was at the heart of the day. All 16 participants returned to their companies with plenty of fresh ideas.
