Software Developer (m/w/d)
You develop a platform that runs in production plants every day: from the backend and machine connectivity through to the interface.
Location: Aachen, Bismarckstraße. Hybrid, with two to three office days a week and a few more while you are getting up to speed.
Your responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing our cloud-based OEE platform – from the backend and APIs to the interfaces used daily in our customers' production facilities.
- Connecting machines and third-party systems via interfaces such as OPC UA, MQTT, and ERP/MES systems, in close coordination with the Customer Success team.
- Implementing new features from technical design and implementation to rollout, including code reviews and automated testing.
- Analyzing and resolving issues during live operations, as well as optimizing performance and stability as data volumes grow.
- Advancing our architecture and development processes by actively shaping technology decisions and challenging the status quo.
Your profile
- At least 1 year of professional experience in software development (experience with cloud-based or data-intensive applications is a plus).
- A completed degree in computer science or equivalent training in a relevant field (e.g. business informatics, software engineering).
- Proficiency in modern web and backend technologies as well as databases, version control, and CI/CD.
- Structured, independent and team-oriented approach to work in a dynamic startup environment.
- Passion for production topics and digital solutions as well as good proficiency in German and English.
